Most Kiberans I know are crying foul over both
the current and past education system in Kenya.
For example in a science class, we are being
taught about the anatomy of a grasshopper …
… (head, thorax, abdomen, antennae, wings, jumping legs, etc.)
… while school kids in Japan are being taught
how to build iPhones, drones, headphones etc.
Consequently, kids in Japan will become
top engineers and technicians …
… while kids in Kibera slums will wallow in poverty
with nothing to show but grasshopper facts.
